With you, without you

About our life together with Dementia

A beautiful, very touching book written about the author´s experience with the dementia of his wife.

The book emphasizes the deeper level of the illness and what can be learned by it.
An early reviewer called it a book of love in spite of the difficult topic. Another reviewer said it was the most moving book she had ever read.

The author touches on many subjects, including his own shortcomings and his many questions regarding the illness.

The book is very direct and frank. It will be an encouragement to those who are going through a similar learning situation.

After reading the book, Helga Rohra, a dementia activist wrote:
"I am personally very touched by your texts. Again and again they show so much deep supportive love. Many people who have been touched by dementia in one way or another, will recognize themselves in the book. They will weep and learn to cherish the treasure of the moment. Just brilliant – brilliant!!!”

The book is illustrated by text graphics, highlighting some of the ideas of the book, as well as with black and white pictures of the author´s wife.
